What are cosmetics?

I think this topic will interest many people as so many women can relate to cosmetic products.
So first of all, what are cosmetics? Cosmetics are used for the improving or modifying the body, usually face and hair. It is designed to ''beautify'' the body by application.
Cosmetics are used every day by many people all over the world.
Some cosmetics that I will discuss in my blog will be the composition and uses of the following:-
-Foundation

-Mascara

-Eyeliner

-Lipstick/Lip-gloss

- Eye shadow
-Bronzer/blusher
-Powder

-Shampoos

-Soaps

You may be surprised with what you find some make-up is made out of. I will also say why these products are related to the geographical world.

Many people don’t think about shampoos and soaps when the word cosmetics is used, but in fact they are in the category of cosmetics as they used for ‘improving or modifying the body’

In my next blog I will start with the History of cosmetic products and how it has changed throughout time.
